I really have to thank You, the Almighty, for giving me the good fortune of being rewarded for last year’s hard work. It was such a pleasant surprise. Cos even though I have my own goals about where I should be in the next 5-10 years, I didn’t expect to be recognised for my efforts this early.
To me, what’s most important is that I try to complete my tasks to the best of my ability given the resources available to me. But there are times when I get frustrated because I am not able to give my own standard of ‘best’. Sometimes, I get worried over something so trivial when I could channel that worry to something more serious. I have no idea what’s the best formula of marketing oneself at work anyway.
But well, somehow it is working out, isn’t it? It has shown, at least for now, that as long as you put in your best effort, the path to greater heights will present itself to you.
